Hi, Sean,
That was an awesome tribute to Bootsie! She was truly unique! I really miss the way she always seemed to be looking out for us, like we were her kittens. She always reminded me that it was bedtime, even though she didn’t
usually come and sleep with me. She also woke me up in the morning, even nipping me if I slept too long. Before she got so sick she would patrol her territory every morning and then sit outside, protecting our yard. And she was an amazing climber and hunter. One thing Sean didn’t mention is that she like to ride in the car and we sometimes took her on our vacations to Zook & Lyter’s each summer. One summer she actually caught a bat as it flew past her, with one seemingly effortless swipe of her paw. It was so sad to watch her slowly decline into that
terrible illness. But she had a good life and she leaves many fond memories behind. Thanks, Sean, for writing such a good eulogy.

I used to have a locker at school too, except it had a lock with a key, which of course I kept losing.
